Question: Lloyds car insurance just sent me an email claiming to offer two free months for joining. Is this a real offer? Thank you.
Answer: Lloyds car insurance does seem to offer two free months if you switch to their company. This is advertised on their web site and confirmed by a quick call. With that being said we cannot endorse Lloyds over any other insurance company in the UK.
We were able to confirm their offer, but we cannot say whether or not other companies offer the same type of deal. In fact many companies will match the best deal given by their competitors.
Also keep in mind the a way to offer two free months would be to spread the two premiums the offer for free over the other ten premiums you are paying.
Basically this would offer you a higher bill over ten months and giving you two “free” months. We are not saying this is what Lloyds is doing, but you should look into it to be certain.
Lloyds car insurance is a well respected company in the UK and they don’t seem to have a large amount of complaints on the Internet, but as with all insurance offers call around and see who is able to offer you the best deal.
